Arlington, Texas - Curnutt & Hafer partner Kelly J. Curnutt and associate attorney Daniel B. Mathis were recently elected as members of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court in Fort Worth, Texas. The Mahon Inn of Court is an association of judges, lawyers, law professors, and law students in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Texas. Founded in 1993, the Mahon Inn of Court is named for the late United States District Judge Eldon B. Mahon in recognition of his efforts to found the Inn and to promote the principles of professionalism in the practice of law. The Mahon Inn is the 184th American Inn of Court in the United States.
In the spring of each year, the Inn's membership committee solicits nominations for new Masters, Barristers, and Associates from the Inn's active members and from state and federal judges. The membership committee then identifies persons who have a demonstrated interest in developing their own professional skills and in improving the quality of justice and submits and recommendations to the Inn's officers. The President then extends the invitations to join the Inn. Mr. Curnutt was elected as a Barrister and will serve a three-year term. Mr. Mathis was elected as an associate member and will complete a two-year term. To learn more about the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court, visit the Inn's website here.
